DIECUS RANCH CALIFORNIA
A Fresh start for the De Chambeau family

Unoccupied Historic Ranch
Mono County
Circa 1800's to Unknown

Diecus Ranch was purchased by Louis Winslow De Chambeau of Bodie in 1893 following the divorce of his first wife. The De Chambeau name became one of popularity in later years following the success of their growing family and ranch on the Mono Basin.

Louis than married his hired house keeper, Mary Currie of the Mono Basin Currie Family (Goat Ranch). In 1906 Louis moved his growing family to the present day De Chambeau Ranch where he and his family continued to prosper.
