Historic Springs and/or Stage Stop

Circa Late 1800’s to Early 1900’s

Situated on a knoll in the middle of the Nevada desert is a cabin that probably served as a watering hole and stage stop supporting the many mines scattered among the Pilot Mountains. Accompanying the cabin is a natural spring and horse corral. An excellent resting spot among the areas dusty trails.

The cabin has seen some recent improvements. In fact when we happened upon it we discovered an off road trailer full of camping gear stored out in front. Inside a visitors log dating back to the 1950’s, the inside cover pleading that visitors respect the cabin and its history.
